The World’s Narrowest House Is Less Than 5 Feet Wide

Named after Israeli filmmaker and writer, Etgar Karet, the Keret House in Warsaw, Poland, is the narrowest house in the world!

It was designed by Polish architect Jakub Szczesny and is 3.02 ft at its’ narrowest point and 4.99 ft at its’ widest.

The house is two stories and 44 square feet!

Polish law is such that the home is too small to be considered a residence, so it is actually an "art installation."

The house comes with a kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom.

The home is also built from aluminum and plastic.

The first floor has a kitchen, a toilet, a shower, a small sofa, and a table for two.

The second floor has a double sized bed, a table, and a chair.

There are no actual windows, but the natural light comes through the perforated walls.
